The United Arab Emirates allegedly provided advanced Chinese-made drones, guided bombs, and heavy artillery to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Amnesty International and intelligence reports found Chinese GB50A bombs and AH-4 howitzers—originally imported by the UAE—used by RSF units across Sudan, indicating a likely re-export in violation of embargoes.

The UAE rejected the accusations as “baseless,” while the Sudanese government condemned the alleged involvement as a violation of sovereignty and urged China to intervene.

“These findings strongly suggest a deliberate pattern of re-exporting Chinese weapons to a force responsible for grave abuses,” Amnesty said.

The reports come amid the ongoing power struggle between Sudan’s military and the RSF, whose conflict since 2023 has displaced millions and fueled regional instability.
